You know, I eventually couldn't maintain the radio show mentioned above. I lost interest. The novelty wore out.
I'd get friends to come in and give them free reign on the station. One of them brought in a labtop and ripped as many jazz cds as he could in four hours. Another one got in the soundbooth and played John Prine albums for a couple hours. I just went in the back and slept on the couch.
I still love that station though -- one of two in the state of Illinois that refuses to play what the record companies say. Even though it means teetering on bankruptcy at all times....
